Paperbark Digital ("we", "us") provides search engine optimisation and AI search optimisation services to businesses in South East Queensland. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you submit the visibility audit form on this website, we collect your name, business name, phone number, email address and the trade or industry you work in. We collect this only because you have chosen to give it to us.
Our website host may also record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is used to keep the site running and secure.
Why we collect it
We use the information you provide to prepare and send you the free visibility audit you requested, to contact you about that audit, and to respond to any enquiry you make. If you become a client, we use it to deliver and administer our services.
Marketing
We may contact you about our services after you request an audit. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
Who else sees it
Form submissions are processed and stored by our website host, Netlify, and notifications are sent to our email provider. These providers may store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We use third-party tools such as Google services to deliver our work. We only share what is necessary, and we do not disclose your information to anyone else except where required by law.
How we protect it
This website is served over an encrypted connection. We limit access to the information we hold and keep it only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email paperbarkstudios@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at the address above. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page.
